This movie came out way back in 2021 and didn’t get a whole lot of hoopla because it was post-covid and theaters were having a difficult time coaxing folks back into them.

There’s a reason I wanted to do a review of it and you have to read to the end to find out why.

Simply put, if you like/love the John Wick movies? You will LOVE/ADORE this movie. I do NOT want to give much away about it since it is one of the few movies that surprised me in more than a couple places. It is dark humor at its best and it raises violence to a thing of art. I’ll even tell you that old “Doc Brown” Christopher Lloyd has a great part in it as well as a well-known action actor, Michael Ironside.

I’ve watched it several times now and could sit down and enjoy it again at any time I had a couple hours I wanted to mindlessly enjoy gratuitous violence. At the end of it, there is a scene during or after the credits so wait for it. It hints at a sequel.

Well, guess what? The reason I wanted to do this review is the sequel is coming out in August and saw a preview tonight. It looks every bit as good and fun as the original. I can”t wait but I’ll have to.

Just trust me…rent it, stream it, steal it. Oops, did I say that? You’ll thank me later.
