AI art by me
Scarlet Passion, burning bright,
In the dungeon of my life.
Am I sometimes stretched too thin?
Where do I stop and where begin?
Giving pieces of my heart,
Waiting for that brilliant spark,
Ignited moments, precious jewels,
I never have obeyed the rules.
Society is not my place,
I hail from quite another space,
Where whims become a fact of life,
To balance on the sharpest knife,
Never cut and never bleed,
Focusing on basic need.
Flocks of lovelies flitting by,
Cascading before my eyes.
A smile, a heart, a kiss, a start,
A joke, a line, another part,
I live a life where I can see,
What I want and what I’ll be.
I pity those who never burn,
Who are afraid to seek and learn,
Quiet lives, so safe, so still,
And never feel electric thrills,
Of knowing, loving, seeing through,
The kinds of things I choose to do.
