Both Off and On, Both Right and Wrong,

Both Black and White, Both Day and Night,

Both Here and There, Both There and Gone,

Both Night and Day, Both No and Way.

Superposition, Schrödinger’s Cat,

Things that can be this and that.

People can in this spot be,

It could be you, it could be me.

Relationships both real or not,

Loving Hearts both Full and Taut,

For some, they take the easy way,

Where night stays night and day stays day,

Where love is one and zero’s the sum,

Where nothing starts until its begun.

And that is fine for those who need,

To see where every footstep leads,

Trips and falls or broken dreams,

Hardly happen between the seams.

Risk is low, Reward is too?

I’ll leave that judgement up to you.

For me, I’ll be both Here and There,

For me, I’ll always give and care,

Risk/Reward, I’ll always play,

And reap the whirlwind every day.
