Perhaps you are a fan of Pinterest, or maybe not? It doesn’t really matter for my point in this article. Several people went on there to find recipes, DIY, and other things. It’s possible they still do. I used to go over there a few years ago to find some good spanking photos and BDSM ones as well.
When I recently returned to the platform, I was about to give up on finding such things since they’ve done a good job disabling any search topics that could lead to bad things. After some time, I found that things are still there, but there is no way you can like them or save them to a board, even if it is a private one. I tried that. The Pinterest mods or automods found me and deleted the stuff. Oh, it wasn’t my fault, of course, but they just became aware this stuff was there so they took care of it for me. How nice of them!
I had done enough to nudge the algorithms so that they started showing me what I was interested in seeing on my main page. I learned to no longer like or love something. I learned to never nudge it except to right-click and save as. To prove my point that stuff is still there, I just went over there and picked out three images that were on my main feed before scrolling down at all.

There was even a DIY for making brass ankle cuffs with an example picture but I didn’t bring that over.
The lesson learned from this is that Pinterest can do what you want it to after a nudge here or there, but don’t ever love something or pin it to a board, or the po-po will come by and confiscate it. If this happens enough times, you will likely be banned.
This is why I find Pinterest amusing. My point may irritate some people or readers who would like it to remain pristine. I get that. I didn’t do it this time, so I feel no guilt about it.
