This is my first book review on the blog. I plan to do others as I read more along the lines of D/s fiction. I could include some reviews of Harem Novels, if anyone would like to know my thoughts on those.
Jaye Elise’s book might be offsetting to those who are not into a Little Girl mindset or kink due to the title but I would say if you’ve ever been on either side of the D/s dynamic then you will enjoy how Jaye writes.
This is a classic tale of the young woman about to graduate college or could if she’d get herself together. She’s willful, a bit lazy, but extremely bright and articulate. Her English Professor has taken more than just an academic interest in her. He used to be Daddy to a Little Girl a long time ago but tragedy struck.
I don’t want to say much more about the storyline so I don’t ruin for anyone but it’s an excellent read. It resonated strongly with me on several different levels and I read it in one night. I had to find out how it ended, didn’t I?
Jaye explores the DDlg dynamic with a softer touch than having an actual Little scenario. There is no real age-regression that happens in the story. There a couple nods to it but they didn’t bother me at all. The action is well-paced and doesn’t get boring at any point.
There is graphic depictions of sex, anal play, discipline, oral sex (one-sided, ahem…it’s okay I already complained and so did Mr. Elise) and the usual structure with rules discipline many, if not all, submissives crave from their dominant.
I highly recommend it for a good read, a good time, and if it doesn’t bring back some memories for you then I’d be very surprised.
